Dragonfly Designs Privacy Policy

Dragonfly Designs respects the privacy of every customer and is committed to collecting and retaining only the limited information necessary to provide requested products, repairs, technology support, design work, and related services.

 

Information We Keep

Dragonfly Designs may retain the following customer information:

• Name

• Telephone number

• Email address

This information is provided directly by the customer and is used only to communicate with the customer, prepare or complete requested work, provide service updates, arrange delivery or pickup, maintain necessary service records, and respond to customer questions.

Dragonfly Designs does not intentionally collect or store Social Security numbers, passwords, complete financial-account information, payment-card information, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive personal information.

 

How We Use Customer Information

Customer information is used only for legitimate business purposes connected to the products or services requested by the customer. Dragonfly Designs does not use customer information for unrelated advertising, profiling, data brokerage, or automated decision-making.

 

Information Sharing

Dragonfly Designs does not sell, rent, trade, publish, transmit, or voluntarily share customer information with any person, advertiser, data broker, marketing company, or outside business.

Dragonfly Designs operates as an independent contractor. All contracted work is completed directly by Dragonfly Designs. We do not use subcontractors or outside companies to perform customer work.

Information will be disclosed only when legally required by a valid court order, subpoena, or other binding legal obligation.

 

Payments

Dragonfly Designs accepts payment through Cash App Business, cash, or check.

Payments are not collected or processed through the Dragonfly Designs website. Customers who choose Cash App initiate payment independently through their own Cash App account. Dragonfly Designs does not receive or store the customer’s Cash App password, bank-account credentials, payment-card information, or other account-login information.

Cash App is an independently operated payment service with its own terms and privacy practices. Dragonfly Designs receives only the payment and transaction information made available to the recipient through Cash App.

Cash and check payments are handled directly by Dragonfly Designs. Any records retained for those payments are limited to what is reasonably necessary for transaction, accounting, tax, and service-record purposes.

 

Website Privacy

The Dragonfly Designs website does not process customer payments. Dragonfly Designs does not operate advertising trackers, sell visitor information, or use information obtained through the website for data-brokerage purposes.

Customers should not submit passwords, financial-account credentials, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal information through the website, email, text messages, or ordinary contact methods.

 

Inbox Contact Name Override Chrome Extension

Inbox Contact Name Override allows users to import a Google Contacts CSV file so Gmail can display the user’s preferred contact names instead of sender-supplied display names.

The extension processes contact names and email addresses only after the user deliberately selects a contacts file. The resulting email-to-name mapping and the extension’s enabled or disabled preference are stored locally on the user’s device through Chrome extension storage.

The extension does not upload or transmit imported contacts, Gmail content, browsing activity, or other user information to Dragonfly Designs or any third party. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking services, or external servers and does not make network requests.

Users may erase the imported contact information at any time by selecting Remove Imported Contacts within the extension. Removing the extension also removes its locally stored information.

 

Information Security

Dragonfly Designs takes reasonable precautions to protect retained customer information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Access is limited to Dragonfly Designs and is used only for the purposes described in this policy.

No method of electronic storage or communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers should avoid sending sensitive information through unsecured communication methods.

 

Retention and Deletion

Customer names, telephone numbers, and email addresses are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain legitimate business and transaction records, meet accounting or legal obligations, and address customer questions.

Customers may request that Dragonfly Designs review, correct, or delete their stored contact information. Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary for tax records, completed transactions, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

 

Children’s Privacy

Dragonfly Designs does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through its website or Chrome extension. A parent or legal guardian should communicate with Dragonfly Designs when ordering products or services for a child.

 

Changes to This Policy

Dragonfly Designs may update this policy when its services, legal obligations, or information-handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest revision.
